With a career that began in journalism, Donna Halinski has established herself as a leading public relations consultant, specializing in media relations and issue management, with extensive experience in journalism and broadcasting.
Halinski has provided media relations and issue management counsel to a broad range of clients including association, business, education, environmental, gaming, manufacturing, and non-profit industries. She is an experienced media coach, combining her news and public relations experience to create customized sessions with clients to help advise them on how to interact with the media.
Previously, Halinski served as a producer at WRAL-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina and held positions at WOOD-TV and WZZM-TV in Grand Rapids, WXYZ-TV in Detroit, WLNS-TV in Lansing, and numerous radio stations across the state. She also worked for Ruder Finn, a national New York-based public relations firm with an office Raleigh, North Carolina.
Halinski was appointed by Governor Rick Snyder to serve on the Michigan Dental Board. Halinski also provides pro bono public relations assistance to Ele’s Place, a healing center for grieving children in Lansing and Ann Arbor.
Halinski is a graduate of James Madison College at Michigan State University with a degree in Urban Policy with an emphasis in Journalism.
