The Opportunity

Based in Romeo, Michigan, Sharp Tooling Solutions is a people-oriented, results-focused company that provides tooling solutions to businesses like Ford, Rivian, GM, and Lockheed Martin. Currently, the automotive and aerospace industry are constantly making technological progress. Sharp meets their customers at the forefront of these developments by innovating solutions that go above and beyond their needs to provide a rare gem in the tooling industry: the ability to be both reliable and flexible.

 

The only thing that changes faster than technology is digital media. Sharp came to us to help them navigate the evolving media landscape to build a website, create a social media strategy, and develop a marketing strategy that promotes their products and services.

How We Got There

Through meetings where we were able to identify Sharp’s key vision and goals, we put together a plan that leveraged every front-facing aspect of the company.

 

We worked closely with trusted contract partners to build out a modern and user-focused website, put together content calendars for social media, ran paid media campaigns, and organized Sharp’s attendance at key industry conferences like AeroDef manufacturing in Los Angeles and Assembly Show South in Nashville. From high-level concepts like brand identity and marketing strategy, to the tiniest details in line cards for industry shows and website user experience, we were able to make Sharp’s vision a reality.

 

For their latest innovative product, CHXflex, MRG put together a plan for the product launch that channeled all aspects of our work for Sharp: social media, website page, traditional media, printed materials, and product shareables for industry events.

The Results

Sharp’s new website has their updated information listed in a way that is user-friendly and showcases the best that Sharp is capable of. Additionally, with MRG facilitating Sharp’s social media strategy and content creation, their social media following has increased by 54.8% and engagement by 1,833.3%. For the CHXflex product launch, MRG’s press release was picked up by 276 media sites, garnering over 100 million potential viewers.

 

In addition to maintaining the aforementioned digital media deliverables, MRG’s strategy continues to be forward-facing, ready to adapt and anticipate future trends, technologies, and consumer behaviors.
